I created this slideshow while visiting Santa Elena, Costa Rica. I wanted to add a music soundtrack, but had no instruments with me. All I could find in town was an m’bira (thumb piano) made from a coconut shell.
So I recorded some improvisations, made two loops of different lengths, and overlaid them so the resulting track would produce a string of variations. To this I added a recording of the jungle at dawn.
