News from the Gender Personal Project
Gender Personal continues to take shape—not only as an exhibit, but also as part of a larger community working to improve how people who are gender variant are perceived and treated. I’m meeting more and more people dedicated to this task, and receiving financial and moral support. Thanks for being part of this!—Jacqui

Interviews and Paintings
Since my last newsletter, I conducted the 8th
interview and am finishing the last of about 40 paintings. You’ll be able to purchase some of the original paintings; several are already for sale online as prints. All proceeds will help defray project expenses. To see some of the paintings, visit our website at http://www.genderpersonal.org
As I review and transcribe the interviews, the speakers’ words continue to amaze me. A few of those people are quoted in this letter. I’m so grateful they've allowed me into their lives, and excited that I get to share this project with you! In addition to paintings, poetry, photos, and bios, the Kirkland Arts Center exhibit will include a Reading Room
featuring interview transcripts, my poems, and information about gender organizations.
